Foxglove Beardtongue is a lovely adaptable perennial that sends up large flower stems from basal rosettes. Sturdy white tubular flowers occasionally touched with lavender appear beginning in June. This penstemon is found in many situations and prefers mesic to dry-mesic soils. A favorite of many pollinators, it is also visited by the occasional hummingbird.
