Blunt Mountain Mint enjoys growing in moist, well draining soils in full sun or part shade. It produces green heart shaped leaves. When it flowers, it also produces bracts with a coating of light grey hairs. It will slowly form colonies. It assoicates with Carex stricta, Eupatroium perfoliatum, and Solidago patula. It is enjoyed by pollinators.
