Ivory Sedge is a diminutive sedge that thrives in any light situation and tolerates mesic to dry soils, making it a great choice for the home landscape. It will slowly spread by rhizomes and forms a tidy round clump of soft, threadlike foliage. Many butterflies, moths and skippers use it as larval food.
