Common Boneset blooms with flat fragrant flower clusters above individual stems all summer long. The light green leaves clasp the hairy stems. It prefers prairie to savanna situations in wet to wet-mesic soils and can be an excellent rain garden plant. A favorite of pollinators, it is the larval host for several moths.
