A highlight of the autumn garden, Sneezeweed produces abundant bright yellow daisy-like flowers with pretty notched petals beginning in late August. Reaching about four feet, it thrives in prairies and savannas in wet to wet-mesic soils. Pollinators of all kinds adore this plant. Its leaves and flowers were once powdered and used as snuff, resulting in its common name.
