A short, adaptable perennial that favors savanna and woodland situations, Jacob’s Ladder blooms in pretty sprays of lavender beginning in April. The bell-like flowers are favored by many bees, butterflies and moths. The green pinnately compound foliage forms loose mounds and is deer resistant.
