Possessing both an aquaitic and terrestial form, Water knotweed can be found in a variety of different wetlands. Its slender leaves will float on the surface of the water or stand at a forty five degree angle to the stem, depending on how much water it is growing in. The flowers are short, dense spiklets of pink blooms. They can spread through their seed or their root system.
