Hairy Mountain Mint forms a shrubby clump about three feet high and wide. Its fuzzy light green fragrant leaves are topped by clusters of white flowerheads beginning in July. Found in prairies and savannas this mountain mint prefers mesic to dry-mesic soils. A fantastic pollinator plant as its nectar-rich flowers attract a broad array of insects. The leaves may also be brewed for a mint-like tea.
