Common Blue Violet

Common Blue Violet is found in woodlands, savannas, and the moden backyard. It has circular foliage that is rolled where it attached to the petiole. The flowers are light purple to blue with stripes of darker colors. They spread through seeds and rhizomes. Common associates are Asarum canadense, Galium trifolorum, and Solidago flexicaulis.
